Scholarship Awards

On Saturday, August 24, and Sunday, August 25, we held our second scholarship award ceremony for high school students, along with our annual scholarship distribution for middle school students at the Los Mangos Library. This year’s event was a resounding success, continuing the legacy of past ceremonies. The participation of students, parents, and community members allowed us to achieve the event’s goal successfully. In addition to the high school scholarships, we were thrilled to award scholarships to middle school students. In total, scholarships were granted to 16 second-year students and 26 third-year students, giving them the necessary support to continue their academic journey with confidence. We also had the joy of celebrating 20 university graduates who successfully completed their studies. Their achievement marks not only the culmination of years of dedication and hard work but also the beginning of exciting new chapters in their professional careers. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Grupo AFAL and Fundación PVSHAREs for their generous support. Additionally, we deeply appreciate all the benefactors and volunteers who made this event possible. Your commitment and dedication are essential to the success of this program and the future of our students. We are excited about the positive impact this support will continue to have on the lives of these students, and we remain committed to our mission of fostering academic and professional success in our community.

On February 24, 2024, Becas Vallarta successfully completed its first semester scholarship distribution. Aimed at high school and university students, the event took place at the Los Mangos Library, reinforcing the association’s commitment to accessible education and contributing to the reduction of school dropout rates in our city. This initiative seeks to address the financial barriers that often hinder access to higher education. During this distribution, talented young students received the support needed to pursue their academic goals. The choice of Los Mangos Library as the venue reflects Becas Vallarta’s strong community focus, striving to make education more accessible to all. We remain committed to this mission and to fostering the educational and social development of our community.

On February 25, Los Mangos Library was the scene of an important scholarship ceremony for middle and high school students in which 190 young people from our community benefited. These students will be able to cover their school expenses and have support to prevent school dropout thanks to the generosity of our donors and collaborators. Education is a fundamental right and it is thanks to initiatives like this that we can help build a better future for our community. We want to express our deepest gratitude to Los Mangos Library for lending its facilities for this event and to all those who made this successful scholarship delivery possible. Without the support of our donors and partners, this initiative would not be possible. Thanks to your generosity, we can contribute to the development of our community through education. In addition, we are pleased to inform you that thanks to the support of our donors and collaborators, we have 15 students who are close to finishing their university studies and who have been benefiting from this scholarship program for many years. These young people have demonstrated their commitment to their education and have worked hard to achieve their goals. We are very proud of them and hope that their success will inspire other young people to continue their academic path. In this sense, it is important to note that our scholarship program seeks not only to support middle and high school students, but also those who wish to continue their university studies. We firmly believe that education is the key to the personal and professional development of our young people and, therefore, to the development of our community as a whole. We want to thank once again all those who made this award ceremony possible and, in particular, our donors and collaborators. Your generosity allows us to continue supporting talented young people who deserve the opportunity to achieve their academic and career goals.
